Technology Blog #1: Developing a Connected Learning Model
No matter what, people are always learning whether it is outside of school, inside of school, or as we are working, we are always learning too. Learning is very imperative to us because without learning we would not grow, our minds would not be more open to different things like communities, how to interact with others, and understanding them. Without understanding the diverse communities surrounding you it can be hard to even work or go through life without understanding it. Some different communities are regards to this are local, global, and bonded communities. Local communities are face-to-face connections, Global networks are online connections with diverse people, and Bonded communities are a collective group of people with the same interests and realize they need a deeper sense of connections.
With all of that being said, me personally the potential career I would like to achieve is to be either a detective or criminal investigator. I love working with people, engaging with them, and also trying to understand why people act the way that they do or do the things that they do. Local communities can relate to my potential career choice because in the career I want it is very important to create face-to-face connections with your co-workers so everyone can work together as a team and to create connections with your local community that you are working with to gain their trust. Therefore, I would say in a sense having bonded communities are extremely important in my potential career because you can possibly work with other detectives and share that common interest but also share different methods and techniques that you use to investigate.
All in all, learning is very imperative to us because without learning we would not grow, our minds would not be more open to different things like communities, how to interact with others, and understanding them. Without understanding the diverse communities surrounding you it can be hard to even work or go through life without understanding it. By identifying the different communities like local, global, and bonded it can help us individuals understand what different communities we are interacting with on a daily basis during our career. Therefore, understanding these communities can also help us individuals realize what communities we should be focusing on the most in or for our potential careers.
