Blogger Post #2: Building Your Connected Learning Community
Everything is always changing, the world is changing, technology is changing, and how we communicate with other people are always changing. No matter what you do in life you should always create connections with other people around you because creating those connections could lead you to have new ideas, new career opportunities, and vice versa. One of the most important ways of networking is personal learning networking (LPN). LPN can help you create deeper connections, which involves an individual's topic goal, and you can gain information and expertise depending on your main interest. When working on your LPN you must remind yourself to connect with those who are going to help you meet and fit your personal goals and also it takes time and effort!
Therefore, for my future career which is becoming a detective/investigator, I can see how LPN connects to my future career. For example, I could use LPN as a detective by collaborating with other departments if I am trying to solve a case and by having those close connections with them, they could help me solve a case and let me use their resources that my department may not possibly have. By having this type of networking, it can help create close connections and by having those close connections you can meet other people from them.
Overall, learning about LPN and applying it to yourself as early as possible is very important if you want to be successful in creating as many connections as possible that you can with people that have the same interests. All in all, everything is always changing, the world is changing, technology is changing, and how we communicate with other people are always changing. No matter what you do in life you should always create connections with other people around you because creating those connections could lead you to have new ideas, new career opportunities, and vice versa. This chapter truly shows just how important it is to connect with others!
